Carpet cleaner rental terms

Simple rules so every machine comes back ready for the next family.

1. Renting

Pay the $39.95 up front and sign a short rental agreement at the counter. We need a major credit card and a valid photo ID. The card stays on file for any charges below.

2. Due back

A rental is 24 hours. Bring it back to the same store by the same time the next day.

3. Keeping it longer

Returned 4 or more hours late, it counts as an extra day ($39.95). So if you need it longer, just keep it another day.

4. Not returned

If the machine isn’t back within 7 days, we charge the card for its replacement value.

5. Bring it back clean

Empty and rinse the dirty water tank, and wind up the hose and cord. A machine or tank returned dirty has a $20 cleaning fee.

6. Damage

Check the machine and tools with us before you leave. Damage, repairs and missing parts are charged at Stark’s repair rates. Normal wear isn’t charged.

7. Cleaning formula

Use a formula made for carpet extractors. We recommend ours, sold at every store. No household soaps or foaming cleaners.

8. Where to use it

For carpet, rugs, carpeted stairs and upholstery. Not for wood, laminate or other hard floors. Don’t lend or rent it to anyone else.

9. Early returns

No refund for early returns or unused time.

10. Reservations

Call or stop by your store.
