Shuts off

Cuts out, starts again later. The motor guard tripped: full bag, filters or a blockage. Miele says wait about 30 minutes.

Red light

Electrobrush red light. Hair or thread jammed the roller. Cleared and reset, or a new belt.

Cuts in and out

Powerhead cuts in and out. Worn contacts in the electric hose or wand. Cleaned, or a new electric hose.

Other issues: weak suction or cleaning, signs of a full bag, dirty filters or a clog.
