About the AUTOMATIC X7 Premium, White
The SEBO AUTOMATIC X7 Premium is a bagged upright that sets its own brush height as you move from carpet to hard floor. It has two brush modes, a boost button and SEBO’s lifetime belt warranty.
More details
Who it’s for
Carpet-heavy homes, big rooms and anyone who wants to push one machine without fiddling with settings. The 40 ft cord means fewer outlet changes.
What stands out
- Automatic height. An electronic controller reads how hard the brush roller works against the floor and raises or lowers it. On hard floors the brush drops flush; on carpet it lifts.
- Two brush modes. The Brush-mode button lets the roller dig deeper into carpet and rugs before it adjusts.
- Boost. Press the boost button (it lights green) for deep cleaning; it turns off when you switch the vacuum off.
- Instant-use wand and hose, plus crevice nozzle, dusting brush and upholstery nozzle on board.
- Lifetime belt warranty from SEBO on AUTOMATIC X drive belts, labor included.
- 12 in head with a 10½ in cleaning path, 1.4 gallon bag, 69 dBA.
Reading the lights
Green lights show the brush going up or down. A flashing red brush light with the motor off means the brush is jammed: unplug and clear it. A steady red brush light means it’s time for a new brush roller. A steady red bag light means change the bag or clear a clog; flashing, the motor stopped for a full bag or clog.
Bags and filters
It takes the SEBO X bag (5093AM), 1.4 gallon, 8 to a box – the same bag as the X4, X8 and Essential G. SEBO says to change filters every 10 to 20 bags and never wash them. Which SEBO bag fits →
Good to know
X7 or X8? Same automatic height and bag. The X8 has a 15 in head for big open carpet; the X7 is 12 in, with the brush modes and boost.
X7 Premium or X7 Premium Pet? The Pet adds a handheld turbo brush, a 9 ft extension hose and a microfilter that absorbs pet odors.
Warranty? SEBO gives 7 years on the motor and 5 on parts and labor. Bought here and registered with our dealer code: 10 years motor and parts, 7 years labor.
Compare it with
Big open rooms: the AUTOMATIC X8. Stairs and tight spots: the Felix Premium. Every upright: SEBO upright vacuums.
