What we see at our stores
Best sellers in 2026: the R27 Deluxe, the SupraLite Standard and the 40 Series Premium. On our repair benches, Riccars mostly come in for jam-sensor stops, thermal shutoffs from a full bag or clog, brushroll motors, belts and cords. Most are fixable: Riccar designs them to be repaired, with parts that stay available.
We still service older Vibrance, Radiance and Brilliance uprights and stock their bags.
What independent testers say
The Carpet and Rug Institute tests vacuums for soil removal and dust containment. Its Gold Seal list includes the Riccar R27 Deluxe and R27 Pet Premium, valid through September 30, 2027 (R27 Deluxe, R27 Pet Premium, checked October 2026).
Few labs publish Riccar tests. We don’t show star ratings from other sites. Try the vacuums yourself instead.

If you want a bagged vacuum you can keep fixing, often yes: Riccar backs its uprights for up to 10 years by model, and we stock the bags and parts. Try one and decide.
Riccar doesn’t publish a lifespan. Its warranties run 1 to 10 years by model, and we still repair older Vibrance and Radiance uprights.
From $69.99 for the Gem handheld to $1,899.99 for the 40 Series Premium. Uprights start at $399.99 (SupraLite Entry).
Riccar is sold only by authorized dealers. Our online prices are Riccar’s list prices, and we match a lower advertised price on the same new model from an authorized retailer, checked in store.
